The White House is situated in the heart of the village, a few minutes walk from the working harbour of Pittenweem. The village is also home to the famous Pittenweem Arts Festival, which takes place at the beginning of August each year. Pittenweem is also situated close to the golf mecca of St Andrews. Neighbouring villages Anstruther and St Monans are within 1/2 hour walk.
